Location

Hawks Nest can be reached by car from Sydney and is around 2¼ to 2½ hours drive on the A1 from Wahroonga.

The apartment is perfectly located within a short walk (260m) to Bennetts Beach, with its magnificent sand stretching for many kilometres. If you prefer to swim in calmer water, Jimmys Beach is also within walking distance (approximately 10-15 minutes walk). You can also stroll (600m) to the shopping centre for an early morning coffee or breakfast, or to stock up at the local IGA supermarket. At night, you can fall asleep to the sound of the sea.

For golfers, the apartment is within walking distance (approximately 700m) to the 18 hole Hawks Nest golf course, which has a quality, well maintained and challenging layout. The club welcomes visitors, either to play socially or, for golfers with an official handicap, to join their competitions. The golf club has a restaurant, which is open 6 evenings per week. The apartment is also ideally located as a base for golfers to visit other excellent golf courses situated both north and south of Hawks Nest, including Nelson Bay, Pacific Dunes and Forster.

Hawks Nest is a joy to visit. It has a relaxed and friendly feeling, with an unhurried pace of life, making it an excellent location for a short getaway, or for a longer holiday.
